During the day, enjoy active outdoor experiences and breathtaking views on tours, easily accessible on foot from the hotel , to the Weinhügel ( Wine Hill) and Sulligknöckla , both offering stunning vistas. The Tiefenthal Gorge also invites you to unforgettable hikes.

Basilica of the Fourteen Holy Helpers
– Baroque masterpiece and place of wonders
The impressive pilgrimage church of Vierzehnheiligen dates back to a shepherd's vision from 1445 and was built in the 18th century according to plans by Balthasar Neumann. Today, Franciscan monks care for the basilica, which is one of the most important Baroque churches in Bavaria.
A special highlight: the “Nothelfertrunk” brewed in the monastery, a dark Franconian beer.

Banz Abbey – Baroque splendor steeped in history
Founded in 1069, the Benedictine monastery of Banz is picturesquely situated opposite the Basilica of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. The baroque monastery church, designed by the Dientzenhofer brothers and Balthasar Neumann, is one of the most important religious buildings in Franconia.
Today the monastery serves as a seminar and conference center for the Hanns Seidel Foundation and houses a prehistoric museum with impressive fossils – including a two-meter-long Ichthyosaurus head.

Staffelberg – the mountain of the Franconians
The striking Staffelberg mountain is the landmark of Bad Staffelstein and, at 539 meters high, offers breathtaking panoramic views over the Upper Main Valley. Hikers can expect a magnificent climb with numerous viewpoints and the Adelgundis Chapel at the summit. Whether for sunrise, a picnic, or a quiet moment – the Staffelberg is a place to breathe deeply and enjoy the scenery.
